The Wellness and Learning Initiatives Program distinguishes between training and certification. With certification opportunities in Mental Health First Aid and safeTALK available, participants gain the necessary skills and knowledge required to provide support in the moment to someone experiencing a mental health problem or crisis.
The Wellness and Learning Initiatives team has developed specialized training workshops designed to facilitate positive intergroup interaction as well as provide competency in supporting individuals of various cultural backgrounds, ethnicities, genders, sexual/gender identities, abilities, and beliefs.
The Wellness and Learning Initiatives team can also work with employers and institutional leaders to create unique workshops and engagement initiatives to bring purpose, meaning, and inspiration to their workplace communities, while supporting the overall well-being of employees.
Our series of webinars are available when you need them in order to learn, understand, and manage various topics related to mental wellness.
Our psychoeducational workshops and seminars, including Lunch ‘N’ Learns, are designed to engage, educate, and motivate participants, while providing individuals with meaningful skills that enhance overall wellness. Each presentation is tailored to suit the unique needs of the client and the intended audience.
